Deqing County on the banks of the ancient canal has won the best in East China: the largest steel trading base in the Yangtze River Delta with an investment of about 2.7 billion yuan has officially opened in Leidian Town, Deqing.

Entering Deqing Linhang Industrial Zone, in the 1,880-acre Deqing Shenghua Linhang Logistics Park, rows of brand-new large warehouses are erected. On the flat and spacious asphalt road, trucks full of steel shuttle back and forth.

As a major logistics project jointly built by Hangzhou and Deqing, Shenghua Linhang Logistics Park is also a key logistics park under the national "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" plan, a logistics base supported by provincial transportation, and the first batch of modern service industry cluster demonstration areas in the province. Since the project started construction in August 2012, it has built a 100,000-square-meter steel logistics warehouse, a 22,000-square-meter information trading center and a comprehensive building, a 14,500-square-meter driver's apartment and a large public parking lot. "Some projects in the park have been put into trial operation in March this year, and the favorable conditions of the park have attracted more than 30 enterprises from Hangzhou and other places to settle in." Xia Yongquan, deputy general manager of the logistics market of Shenghua Linhang, introduced. "The market space is broad, all the supporting facilities are complete, the cost of water transportation is low, and the development prospect is promising." Zhejiang Tiecun Materials Co., Ltd. settled in Deqing Shenghua Linhang Logistics Park at the beginning of the year. General Manager Qian Xiangbo told reporters that the company was operating soon On the right track, the average daily delivery of more than 100 tons of goods. "The goods are transported by water, which is really good news for our steel trading enterprises." The official operation of the park has made Qian Xiangbo more and more confident in the future development.

"The river wharf has a 1,080-meter-long shoreline. In the first phase of the project, 19 1,000-ton berths have been built, involving an annual throughput of nearly 6 million tons. In the second phase, 12 500-ton berths will be reserved." Responsible for the operation of the park Wei Chunquan, general manager of Zhejiang Linhang Metal Materials Market, introduced that the inland river terminal in the park can directly connect to Shanghai Port, Ningbo Port, and Jiaxing Zhapu Port, realizing sea-river intermodal transportation and facilitating the transportation of bulk goods across the country.

Hardware is strong, software is not soft. In addition to infrastructure and transportation advantages, the park's good investment policy has also attracted many steel trading companies. Zhejiang Qunhua Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., which "settled in the park" in March this year, is one of them.

Hong Changhua, the person in charge of Qunhua Iron and Steel, told reporters that what really dispelled his concerns and prompted him to enter Deqing was that the park's policies were complete and beneficial to enterprises. On the first day of the meeting, Wei Chunquan provided more than 5,000 square meters of warehouse land as promised, and also reduced his rent for one year. Hong Changhua said: "More than 1.5 million yuan can be saved in one year, which greatly reduces operating costs." Hong Changhua is even more overjoyed when he can enjoy other preferential tax treatments.

In order to better serve the settled enterprises, the park will cover the intelligent logistics network and create a new model of "Internet + logistics". Not only that, the market is also planning to build "Internet + Finance", "Internet + E-commerce" and other platforms, aiming at the development demand trend of the logistics market in the Hangzhou metropolitan economic circle, focusing on the steel and non-ferrous metals of the manufacturing agglomeration platform in the Hangzhou metropolitan circle. The logistics demand, as well as the logistics demand of general warehousing and distribution and distribution brought about by the separation of main and auxiliary manufacturing industries, strive to build the largest large-scale metal logistics base in the country's inland river ports.
